Advent Receives EASA Certification, Hampton Aviation Joins its Dealer Network

Several news items came out this week concerning Advent Aircraft Systems, including the announcement they had received EASA certification for its eABS anti-skid braking system for the Pilatus PC-12/PC/12NG and Beechcraft King Air B300. Additionally, Advent noted they had taken orders from Australia, Canada, and Norway for the braking system.

“Owners and operators understand the benefits of anti-skid braking, from both a safety perspective and to the bottom line,” said Advent vice-president, marketing and sales, Tom Grunbeck. “With eABS, there is a viable, effective and simple anti-skid system for a variety of aircraft that didn’t have the option previously, and the world is taking notice.”

Certification processes for the B300 have been launched for Transport Canada and Australia CAA certification. King Air B200 will be added to the approvals when the FAA certification for that model is approved (aim is July).

Hampton Aviation, (who recently joined Raisbeck Engineering’s dealer network), announced they had partnered with Advent Aircraft Systems to being offering installation of Advent’s eABS system.

“We are very pleased to be part of the Advent Aircraft Systems team,” said Tom Canavera, Sales and Marketing for Hampton Aviation. “The eABS digital anti-skid system provides both our civilian and military King Air customers with an excellent answer for better directional control and reduced stopping distance on contaminated runways. Hampton Aviation continues to work with many vendor partners in providing solutions for the King Air”.
