GR Lowe of Aviation Fabricators announced that the company has received Russian approval for the installation of their Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approved King Air Aft Jump Seat Kits for Beechcraft B300 (350) series aircraft. The company has STC approval in the U.S., EASA, Brazil, Mexico, Canada and Indonesia as well.
“This approval is another big product milestone,” said AvFab’s GR Lowe. “Now operators in Russia will be able to realize the significant versatile advantage of adding our Aft Jump Seat Kits to their aircraft. We will continue to add more and more countries to our list of approvals for the seats.”
The seats fold down from the side wall of the aircraft’s aft baggage compartment. They are interchangeable with the OEM jump seat and can use the existing OEM hardware if the aircraft has it. Also, the AvFab kit can be used for installation if the aircraft has not been previously equipped with an installation kit.
