Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) recently announced they received Indonesian approval for the installation of their STC approved KingAir aft jump seat kits in B300 and B300C aircraft. AvFab had already received EASA approval for installation of the seats, and the company also already held U.S. STC and Brazil STC for the product.
The jump seats fold down from the side wall of the aircraft in the aft baggage compartment. The seats are interchangeable with the OEM jump seat and can utilize the existing OEM installation hardware if the aircraft is so equipped. If the aircraft has not been previously equipped with an installation kit, the AvFab kit can be used to make the installation.
The kit includes all installation hardware, brackets, parts, the seat (un-upholstered), complete restraint system, life vest, overhead lights, vents, oxygen drop-downs, and installation instructions. AvFab generally has kits in stock and available for immediate world-wide shipment.
