Beacon and Dynamic Aviation Partner Up to Provide Private Flight to Northeast

Private plane service Beacon and aircraft solutions provider Dynamic Aviation announced jointly last week a $400 million strategic partnership that will be key to facilitating Beacon’s late-summer launch and expansion throughout the Northeast. Dynamic Aviation will be responsible for providing service to Beacon customers beginning with flights between New York and Boston.

Under the terms of the agreement, Dynamic Aviation will deliver 27 mid-sized executive turbo-props manufactured by Beechcraft over the next three years. Dynamic will operate and maintain the fleet of pre-owned Beechcraft King Air B200s and 1900s on behalf of Beacon for a 10-year period. They will provide commuter services on an exclusive basis to Beacon.

“Beacon believes in delivering world-class aviation solutions. Our partnership with Dynamic Aviation enables us to do just that, by offering the most efficient aircraft to travelers who need to save time, money and precious resources,” said Eyerly.
“With a record of successful operations for major clients stretching back over 40 years, Dynamic Aviation stands out as a leading provider of aviation services throughout the country,” said Cozzens. “Combining this operating experience with the service experience of the Beacon team, this partnership will truly allow Beacon members to enjoy a one-of-a-kind premium travel experience.”

All planned operations launch is “subject to receipt by Dynamic Aviation of appropriate authority to operate scheduled interstate commuter service from the DOT and FAA.”

About Beacon:

Beacon was created by the group that launched California’s private air travel club Surf Air in 2013. A subscription based service, Beacon passengers pay $2000 a month for unlimited flights on a maximum 10-passenger aircraft. Unlike Surf Air, Beacon does not own its own fleet but connects members with certified air carriers. Typical aircraft used include the Pilatus PC-12 and Beechcraft King Air B200, 1900, and 350i. Launch will serve New York (White Plains) and Boston with seasonal service to Nantucket and the Hamptons. Initial estimates of job creation are from 300 to 400. Website is www.flybeacon.com.
