Following last week’s purchase of Hawker Beechcraft Ltd. by Marshall Aerospace and Defense Group, Beechcraft announced today that it has appointed Marshall Aviation Services, part of Marshall Aerospace, as an exclusive sales distributor for its range of commercial and special mission King Air turboprops and piston-engine aircraft in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Marshall Aviation Services is responsible for all of Marshall ADG’s business and commercial aviation activities. The distributorship will be based at the new Marshall Aviation Services facility in Broughton, with a satellite location in Oslo, Norway.

“Marshall is a company with a solid reputation in the aerospace and defense business,” said Richard Emery, Beechcraft president, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. “This appointment, combined with Marshall’s acquisition of the U.K. service center and its recently-awarded authorized service center status, is a winning combination for Beechcraft commercial, special mission and XPR customers in the region.”

“To exclusively represent Beechcraft’s new and aftermarket aircraft programs is a fantastic opportunity for Marshall Aviation Services and expands our business aviation capabilities,” said Howard Povey, Marshall Aviation Services sales director. “We look forward to working with Beechcraft to successfully promote and market its products throughout our region.”

Beechcraft also announced that Adrien Chazottes, Beechcraft regional sales director for Western Europe, will expand his sales responsibilities to include the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia, working this region alongside Marshall.
