It’s proving to be a big week for Beechcraft, who has made a lot of announcements thus far this week in Geneva, Switzerland, EBACE 2013. Of the latest news announcements, Beechcraft has appointed a new ASC, U.K.-based Gama Support Services, further expanding the number of Beechcraft ASCs, which the company has been adding to frequently in recent months. GENEVA, Switzerland (May 21, 2013) – Beechcraft Corporation today announced that it has named Gama Support Services at Farnborough Airport, United Kingdom, a fully authorized service center for all Beechcraft products. Previously, Gama was a member of the company’s Global Customer Support network as an ASC for Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza and a limited service center for Beechcraft King Air products.
“We are pleased to expand our relationship with Gama Support Services, a group of skilled professionals with expert knowledge of the Beechcraft product line,” saidChristi Tannahill, Beechcraft senior vice president, Global Customer Support. “With Gama, we are able to reinforce our worldwide service center network for Beechcraft customers operating in and out of the U.K.”
Gama Support Services, which has been in the aircraft maintenance industry for 30 years, provides EASA Part 145-approved maintenance support and certification at Farnborough International Airport, along with avionics support, Support Plus and Warranty claims processing and an in-house 24/7 AOG support team.
Headquartered in Wichita, Kan., the Global Customer Support organization is dedicated to improving the value of both Hawker and Beechcraft aircraft by employing products and services to simplify aircraft ownership, reduce operating cost and increase resale value. GCS is comprised of five functional groups that include Support Plus (cost predictability/warranty programs), Hawker Beechcraft Parts & Distribution (genuine factory parts), Hawker Beechcraft Services (factory-owned service centers), Technical Support (Field Support Representatives, Hot Line specialists and Technical Publications) and Global Mission Support (government business and special mission maintenance / training support).
