OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Commuter Air Technology (CAT), an AGC Aerospace & Defense Company, announces the signing of a distribution agreement with Professional Aviation Associates (PAA), a Greenwich Aerogroup Company, based in Atlanta, Ga.
As a result of the agreement, PAA will now market CAT Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) equipment, including Soft Touch Tires, CAT Exhaust Extractors and CAT King Air cargo carriers, both domestically and internationally.
Darryl Wilkerson, CAT President, said: “We are extremely pleased with this distribution agreement. CAT products, developed specifically for the Beechcraft King Air line of aircraft, will now be aggressively marketed worldwide by Professional Aviation Associates. Their world-class sales and logistics network will allow increased customer access to CAT products and services here, in the US, and internationally. It is a true win/win.”
Cat Soft Touch Tires allow King Air’s with a standard gear to experience High Flotation gear performance with no modification to the aircraft. The pilot will experience a softer ground roll, smoother taxi, increased landing options and the greater safety of a HFG.
CAT Exhaust Gas Extractors are designed to increase fuel efficiency, lower the internal turbine temperature (ITT), improve cruise and climb performance, reduce nacelle sooting and will virtually eliminate exhaust cracking on a Beechcraft King Air 90, 200 or 350.
CAT delivers certified aircraft and aircraft modifications, including high performance and flight characteristics enhancements, commuter and high-density passenger systems and support, corporate reconfigurations and cargo conversions, for both commercial and government applications. With nearly 30 years’ experience enhancing the King Air models, CAT offers a full line of technical services, such as aviation and mission crew provision and training, program management, Aircraft Maintenance Management, Engineering and Developing, STC Process Management and Airworthiness Certifications, for U.S. and international customers.
“The alignment of our two companies, Commuter Air Technologies with technical support and engineering capabilities and Professional Aviation Associates with sales and logistical support, is a natural fit benefiting both Beechcraft King Air owners and operators,” said President of Professional Aviation Associates Brian Dannewitz.
