CenTex Aerospace Submits EASA Application for Approval of their HALO 250 Gross Weight Increase STC

Centex Aerospace HALO 250 Conversion for KingAir 200 Series - KingAirNation

With the approval issued to Centex Aerospace for their HALO 250 conversion for 200 series KingAir by the United States FAA in October of last year and Transport Canada in January of this year, the company recently applied to the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for their HALO 250 gross weight increase STC in efforts to bring yet another benefit to pilots and aircraft into the European aviation market.

The Halo 250 STC conversion raises the maximum takeoff weight of any 200 series KingAir from 12,500 to 13,420 pounds, resulting in a 920 pound increase in payload capacity. It also moves the KingAir 200 into commuter category, allowing transport of passengers and cargo without the limitations that accompany restricted category.

The Halo 250 conversion is compatible with Pro Line 21 and G1000 avionics and many of the popular KingAir 200 modifications, including those offered by Raisbeck Engineering, BLR, Blackhawk, and others.
