FlightSafety International has received an order to build a King Air C90GTX for the Civil Aviation University of China. The university plans on using the simulator for their ab initio pilot training programs.
John Van Maren, Vice President of Simulation for FlightSafety noted, “Supporting the need for well-trained pilots in China with our advanced-technology full flight simulators and expertise in training, shows our commitment and ability to meet the specific needs of China’s growing aviation industry.”
Planned delivery is expected during the first quarter of 2016. The Civil Administration of China is expected to give it Level D qualification. Xu Jianxing, President of Chaoyang Flight College of CAUC said the college has big plans for the device. “FlightSafety was selected to build the King Air C90GTX due to the quality and value they provide, and their excellent reputation in China,” he added, “We look forward to using the simulator to help meet the ongoing strong demand for pilots in China.”
The FlightSafety FS1000 is packed with features that prioritize accurate simulation. This includes closely integrated computer software and hardware integration across multiple subsystems. Multi touch displays, resizable graphics, and an easy to use interface help to teach new pilots with minimum hassle. This ease of use has made them popular choices for numerous industries; including government, military and commercial organizations worldwide.
