Commuter Air Technology (CAT) will begin providing Finnoff Aviation Products 5-blade MT Composite Propellers for King Air 90, 200 and 300 series aircraft. The agreement includes terms granting CAT exclusive rights to sell MT Propellers to U.S. Department of Defense customers and foreign government military sales in which the U.S. Government is contracting and/or financing agent.

Designed for enhanced performance and safety, Finnoff Aviations 5-bladed natural composite materials reduce noise with a smaller propeller diameter, shorter blade size, and slower tip speeds. There is also an increased margin of safety between the blade tip and the ground; reducing prop damage. Additional surface area due to the 5-blade design paired with the slower tip speeds help maintain smooth airflow over the blades; causing greater thrust for takeoff and climb. The composite propellers are 16% lighter on average than aluminum systems. Lighter weight means lower engine stress and starting temperatures.
