FlightSafety Building King Air 350 Simulator Equipped with Pro Line Fusion

In a recent press release, FlightSafety announced they are building a full flight simulator for the King Air 350 aircraft. The new FlightSafety FS1000 simulator will feature the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion integrated avionics system.

“FlightSafety is pleased to increase the support we provide owners and operators of King Air aircraft,” said Steve Gross, Vice President, Sales. “Building a King Air 350 simulator equipped with the Pro Line Fusion avionics system demonstrates FlightSafety’s commitment to respond to the changing needs of our customers.”

FlightSafety plans to deploy the simulator at the FlightSafety Learning Center in Atlanta, Georgia in early 2016. The center will combine simulator learning with the new Operational Dayflow training methodology. A highly customized training system, the methodology presents critical procedures and tasks according to phase of flight.

The FlightSafety FS1000 simulator features tightly integrated computer hardware and software across multiple subsystems. This allows for an accurate and high fidelity simulation. The new multi-function Instructor Operating System provides an intuitive interface, scalable graphics, and large multi touch displays that further enhance the experience. To top it off, it will be equipped with the FlightSafety VITAL 1100 vital system with electric motion control and cueing.

FlightSafety provides training for King Air aircraft at its Learning Centers in Atlanta, Georgia; LaGuardia airport in New York; Long Beach, California; Wichita, Kansas; and at the Farnborough airport in the United Kingdom.

The Atlanta Learning Center trains for the King Air 90 Series, King Air 200, King Air B200, King Air 300, King Air 350, Bombardier Learjet 31A, Learjet 35A, Learjet 40, Learjet 40XR, Learjet 45, Learjet 45XR, Learjet 60, Cessna Citation I, Citation II, and Citation SII. Additionally, The Center provides training for regional aircraft manufactured by Bombardier and Embraer.
