FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mar. 17, 2025 - King Air Nation announces awarding of Foundation scholarships 

BRANDON, Mississippi - In 2024 the King Air Nation Foundation was formed with the objective of growing the Beechcraft King Air industry from both ends of the A&P and pilot spectrum. Since then, the foundation, through the support of the annual King Air Gathering, has been able to fund endeavors to increase the King Air workforce through scholarship. This year, the vehicle for this changes in a way that promises greater direct impact than ever before. The King Air Nation Foundation has created a pair of scholarships to be able to support students in their pursuit of technical education. 

Hinds Community College’s Raymond campus in Raymond, Mississippi offers a unique Aviation Maintenance Technology program where students can earn their Aircraft Maintenance Technician certification at an FAA Part 147 facility.  The King Air Nation Foundation has created a scholarship to be awarded each semester to students committed to the program and furthering themselves in a career in aviation maintenance.  

Epic Flight Academy in New Smyrna Beach, Florida is the other recipient of the King Air Nation Foundation scholarship rollout. The foundation is pledging funds to students pursuing both mechanical and flight training. Epic Flight Academy boasts a robust training program that has graduated students from over 100 different countries to give them the tools for successful careers in aviation.  

The King Air Nation Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization committed to uplifting and growing the King Air community. It is because of the King Air Gathering and the event’s auction that the foundation is able to do things like create scholarships and training programs to educate the next generation of King Air experts.Thanks to enthusiasts and professionals alike, the foundation is able to continue its growth and patronage.
