King Air Maintenance and Repair - Hampton Aviation in Arkansas

Hampton Aviation sits at the foot of the beautiful Ouachita Mountains in Mena, Arkansas, home to roughly 6,000 of the nation’s friendliest people. Originally founded by Fred Hampton in 1965, Hampton Aviation was purchased by Greg D. Davis, an entrepreneur from Houston, Texas, in 2012.

For over 40 years, Hampton Aviation has been providing maintenance, repairs, and more to the aviation industry nationwide. Specializing in an extensive list of aircraft, from piston singles to cabin class turbines, their one-stop “good-as-new” service means just that—one stop. As aircraft owners themselves, they understand that you want your work completed on time, within budget, and by a team that you can trust. Hampton Aviation is committed to providing nothing less.

In the last year, Hampton Aviation has constructed a brand new, 25,000 square foot maintenance hangar and has also completed the refurbishment of a 15,000 square foot paint hangar in partnership with the City of Mena. Both NAS 3306 and NFPA 409 compliant, this paint facility is the only one of its kind located in Mena. Along with an additional 20,000 square foot maintenance hangar, this brings Hampton Aviation’s total capacity to 60,000 square feet. Every inch has been designed to ensure that they can provide the best quality, value, and experience for customers.

Of the 30 mechanics on staff, a number that grows by the day, 25 are certified and have a combined 698 total years of experience in the aviation industry. The corporate staff works closely with major aviation insurance adjusters throughout the United States and can efficiently process the paperwork needed to begin work on any aircraft.

Hampton Aviation is 8210.1 compliant and a certified FAA Repair Station 2HVR792B. Since 2005, they have been supporting Prime Contractors and the US Government as a heavy maintenance facility specializing in structural repair, modification, and inspection on the government’s Beechcraft King Air fleet. They have a wealth of experience on the King Air aircraft, and look forward to sharing what they’ve learned over the years with the KingAirNation community.
