When you think about purchasing a new Beechcraft aircraft, where is the first place you go? Questions about the complete aircraft life cycle or routine maintenance, who do you call? What about direct questions on various retrofit packages and upgrades including the latest in technology? Is it possible to service all these questions at one place, one time?
This last year has left many questioning how the future will look for Beechcraft, including the Hawker side, and how questions like these can be supported. Eagar to be a key source for all this information, one Hawker Beechcraft Service location in particular, Hawker Beechcraft Services PDK at the Peachtree Airport in Atlanta Georgia, is striving to make it known of their service and support.
On September 13-14, 2013, they opened up their doors to provide potential and current Beechcraft owners and operators a glimpse of the complete ownership and operation experience. On hand were two new Beechcraft KingAir’s including the KingAir 250 and KingAir 350i. Additionally, they had two KingAir pilots present along with other Beechcraft team members including maintenance and avionics personnel, a field representative, and facility and regional sales managers.
“Our goal was to have our customers meet the teams from both of our Atlanta facilities, provide any answers or solutions to questions or requests and familiarize them with our products, people, and offerings,” mentions Beechcraft Facility Sales Manager PDK/FTY, Donna Gillow.
With the PDK airport being ranked among the busiest general aviation airports in the US, HBS new the traffic needed additional support and opened their facility in March 2012.
Also present at the event, were some of the top aviation product manufacturers including Rockwell Collins, Garmin, and Aircell. Others represented with information were Flightdocs, Blackhawk Modifications and Raisbeck Engineering.
HBS is looking forward to having more similar events in the future including various clinics and workshops. “It’s just too good of an opportunity to bring in major vendors and exports within our industry to our customer for a face-to-face conversation,” said Andy Wilson, Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Beechcraft Corporation.
