The Beechcraft King Air 250 embarks on the first ever Asia-Pacific regional demonstration tour.
A demonstration of the King Air 250 aircraft is due to arrive in New Zealand, where it will then fly to the Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, before departing for Indonesia where further demonstrations will be conducted in South-East Asia.
Tony Jones, Hawker Pacific senior vice president, Aircraft Sales Group said: “The King Air is the best-selling business aircraft in the world, so we’re not surprised at the considerable enthusiasm we have received from the market in the lead up to this aircraft’s inaugural tour.”
Jones added: “The King Air range of aircraft is incredibly popular throughout Australia and New Zealand with an installed base of 187 aircraft operating in a variety of missions including government, military, aeromedical and private operations. The King Air 250, the latest evolution of the King Air range, remains the aircraft of choice for companies, governments and individuals – primarily due to its comfort, range and economy.”
“What’s also unique about this aircraft is its composite winglets and lightweight composite propellers, enhancing its performance with higher cruise speeds and improved short field capability. This capability makes it extremely practical for use in and out of smaller, remote locations without sacrificing any of the other King Air strengths – an appealing feature for owners and operators, particularly in this market,“ said Jones.
“We’re proud of our ongoing relationship with Beechcraft and look forward to showcasing the King Air 250 aircraft to the region,” added Jones.
