King Air 350’s “Rise” to the Occasion at New Airline

Beechcraft’s King Air 350 is hitting the center stage as the vehicle to fixing air travel.  After an entrepreneur spent endless hours encountering flying issues, a solution has been born.  Two King Air 350’s that seat eight people are in business to make flying an enjoyable experience.

New start-up

An entrepreneur from Dallas, Nick Kennedy, has created a new start-up called “Rise.”  After flying over 2 million miles for business, he realized he needed to change the way people were commuting.  His new venture, Rise, is designed to do just that by making travel accessible, faster, and comfortable.  The King Air 350 is the perfect aircraft for delivering this experience to customers by offering a luxurious feel and spacious quarters to fly in.

Rise is positioned to offer flights in November between Dallas and Houston.  The airline company works by offering members 3 different membership levels with the following fees:

  • Initiation fee–$750
  • Express level–$1650/month
  • Executive–$2150
  • Chairman–$2650

The initiation fee also includes a background check to ensure safety.  Once the member has paid the initiation fee and picked a level, they would download an app that would give them the ability to check-in to a flight.  The service even allows for a member to sign-in up to 5 minutes before take-off, so they wouldn’t have to worry about being at the terminal hours earlier.

Big picture for King Air 350

If Rise gains national interest like Kennedy is hoping, then the King Air 350 would have a bright future with more planes needed for commuters.  It would also add more jobs for maintenance on the planes.

The King Air continues to be one of the best planes for private business travel, but Rise could help the King Air’s break into more commercial uses.
