King Air Safety Records Are Time Tested

Where aviation is concerned, safety must always come first. King Air safety is a stalwart in aviation. The King Air is a corporate aircraft designed for comfort, efficiency and of course, safety.

Without putting a jinx on the King Air, the fleet of King Airs has logged in over approximately 40 million hours since King Air was first introduce in 1964. The King Air 350 has not been in any reported incident since the 350 made its debut in 1990, testimony to the safety of the King Air fleet and aircraft within its fleet.

In fact, King Air aircraft has the best safety record of any business fleet, with the 350 being the standout of King Air’s offerings. The beauty of the King Air and its deserved safety rating is the ability of the aircraft to take full fuel and passenger limits without sacrificing performance or any other facet of the aircraft’s safety rating and potential. The maximum landing weight is rated at 15,000 pounds– the same as the take-off rating. This makes the King Air a versatile and extremely safe aircraft.

The King Air 350, as an example, has a take-off rating the same as commuter category of FAR Part 23. This means pilots get mandatory training in the aircraft for takeoff parameters and have to observe runway measurements as part of this training, just like pilots go through with jet certifications and training.

The dual engine, dual prop King Air is also a bargain when compared to executive class jets, so not only is it a solid choice for safety, but is a solid choice for maintaining the bottom line.
