King Airs are Becoming Go-to Planes for Air Shuttle Start-ups

In the age of start-up’s, Beechcraft’s business jets are King! King Airs are becoming the go-to fleet for companies starting air taxi services.  Texas Air Shuttle has recently announced it will be using a King Air fleet to bring a membership shuttle service to Texas.  This comes as no surprise considering the luxury and quality that the King Air brings to its clients.

King Air’s to Make February Debut

Once again, Wichita-based Beechcraft can be proud of their King Airs since they will be the starting fleet for Texas Air Shuttle’s new all-you-can-fly service.  The company picked the King Air 200 series because it is one of the world’s best and most used business aircrafts. Its safety record is next to none, provides top-notch luxury to flyers, and has the latest technology in the cockpit.

Texas Air Shuttle Flying Buffet

After Dallas start-up, Rise, announced their plan to take over the Dallas market to shuttle business executives around the state, Texas Air Shuttle is following suit with a membership based service.  The plan offers travelers an all-you-can-fly “buffet” for a price range of $899-$4900 per month.  The flights are starting out of San Antonio, but will quickly expand to other Texas cities with long-term goals of moving to other states like Oklahoma and Arkansas. The February wait-list will fly passengers from San Antonio to Houston, Austin, and Dallas-Fort Worth.

The company will save business commuters time by eliminating driving hours and will remove additional inconveniences like security checks and commercial flight delays.  Flyers will not have to go through security, or adhere to strict TSA policies.  Passengers only have to arrive 15 mins before the flight. In total, Texas Air Shuttle will save passengers an average of two hours per flight!

Even after 50 years in service, King Airs are continuing to make their mark in business travel.
