Luma Technologies has completed development of the latest addition to their LumatechTM line of LED annunciator panels for the King Air
The all LED system is notably different with its modern flat-panel appearance compared to the C90’s older incandescent cluster and offers dramatically improved lighting with laser crisp sunlight readable displays that assure increased pilot awareness and overall mission safety. Add to that the elimination of burned out lamps and frustration/expense of broken or misbehaving cap assemblies for the life of the aircraft. “Once you’ve installed a Lumatech system, you’ll never replace another lamp or take a cap related delay again” said Bruce Maxwell, Luma’s President. He also mentioned the unit draws one fifth the power and eliminates the scalding hot lens temperatures associated with the older incandescent units.

Luma had planned to have its C90 system added to their STC and available in time for NBAA but has now been pushed out to February due to the furloughs and envisioned backlog at the FAA due to the recent Government shutdown.
The LT-4545 is compatible with all C90 avionic packages ranging from the older analog systems, Collins’ ProLine21, or the increasingly popular G1000 system from Garmin. “I’m pleased we’re now able to offer the LumatechTM system to C90 owners and operators”, said Maxwell. “With this addition we now have an LED solution across all King Air

The new unit was on display at Luma Technologies’ booth last week at this year’s NBAA Convention & Exhibition.
