Elliott Aviation, a provider of aviation solutions based in Moline, IL recently announced the promotion of Mark Wilken to Vice President of Avionics Programs and Operational Logistics. Wilken is now apart of the senior leadership team which includes Wynn Elliott, Greg Sahr, Jeff Hyland, Rick Michalski, Ed Chevrestt, Lawrence Harting and Todd Spangler.
Wilken’s new responsibilities will be to provide leadership and direction for avionics sales, aftermarket avionics, engineering and certification, FBO and facilities, parts and government programs. He will report directly to Greg Sahr, President of Elliott Aviation.

We are very excited about expanding Marks responsibilities and the potential that represents for our business and proud to have him as a member of our senior leadership team.”
Wilken started his Elliott Aviation career in 1989 as an Avionics Bench Technician repairing radios and soon became manager of the department. He continued to rise within the company, taking on the responsibility of heading various programs. One of these programs included the Garmin G1000 King Air retrofit program: one of the most successful avionics retrofit programs in the history of aviation. Most recently, Wilken was the Director of Avionics Sales.
