Textron Aviation took the opportunity this week at the NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition 2015 to introduce a new support solution called ProOwnership and Beechcraft announced it has received type certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the new Pro Line-equipped Beechcraft King Air 350i/ER turboprop.
ProOwnership is an operational support and turn-key Part 91 aircraft management solution available for Cessna citation business jets and Beechcraft King Air products. The plan is to tailor the service to each customer’s individual needs. It will allow aircraft owners to utilize Textron Aviation’s expertise for aircraft ownership and operation. Service can include providing a Textron Aviation transition flight crew or pilot mentoring services. Additionally, the service could assist in selecting a home airport and hangar, trip planning, overseeing all maintenance events and providing concierge services.
“The beauty of our ProOwnership program is that it can be fully customized to fit each customer’s needs, making owning and operating an aircraft as enjoyable and seamless as it should be,” said Brad Thress, senior vice president, Customer Service. “Between our team’s incomparable product knowledge, our commitment to service and our work to ensure a new owner’s seamless entry into service, Textron Aviation is more than an aircraft manufacturer. Our customers rely on us to be their trusted advisors throughout their ownership experience.”
The services will be a perfect compliment to the newly FAA type certified Pro Line Fusion-equipped Beechcraft King Air 350i/ER turboprop. Beechcraft noted in their announcement that deliveries of the 350i/ER are scheduled to begin before the end of the year. The company made their Pro Line Fusion-equipped King Air 350i and King Air 250 turboprop NBAA debut at Textron Aviation’s static display this week at the Henderson Executive Airport.
“Our product roadmap is focused on satisfying our operators’ requirements, and making Pro Line Fusion standard on our production King Airs is in direct response to customer feedback,” said Christi Tannahill, senior vice president, Turboprop Aircraft and Interior Design. “Offering the latest technology in the cockpit and cabin has resulted in great market reaction; our owners and operators clearly appreciate that these new features improve the overall flight experience and value of the King Air.”
Deliveries of the Fusion-equipped King Air 250 are expected to begin before the end of the year. Certification for the Pro Line Fusion-equipped King Air C90GTx is expected in the first half of 2016.
