Parker Aerospace’s Aircraft Wheel & Brake Division was selected earlier this month by Nextant Aerospace based in Cleveland, Ohio, to provide its STC-approved wheel and brake conversion kit for the Nextant Aerospace King Air G90XT Remanufactured Turboprop aircraft. The G90XT program was announced by Nextant Aerospace in October 2013 and has received significant interest in the industry to date.
Nextant’s Vice President of Business Development Mark O’Donnell was quick to acknowledge that the decision to install Parker’s P/N 199-90 wheel and brake conversion kit on the G90XT was an easy one. Parker has sold over 1,200 of the conversion kits on various King Air 90 aircraft since the kit was introduced in 1982. The kit provides the performance, value, and reasonable maintenance costs that customers are expecting on the G90XT.
“Parker Aircraft Wheel & Brake is proud to be part of the team helping to move this program forward at Nextant,” noted Division Team Leader Tom Dorinsky.” “The G90XT program will be a huge success for Nextant,,and Parker is proud be a partner on this new and exciting aircraft. We look forward to its first flight, scheduled for this year.”
