Pro Star Aviation recently announced the purchase of HL Tooling LLC; a precision machining company formerly located in Northwood, NH. HL Tooling LLC has been renamed Pro Star Precision Machining and will be located in a newly renovated 14,000 square foot facility based at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) in Londonderry, NH.
Kevin Harriman, Pro Star Aviation’s Managing Partner and GM, stated; “the acquisition of such a high quality machine shop gives Pro Star Aviation the autonomy needed to produce its state-of-the-art “A-Kits” and other precision machined parts with minimal lead time.” Harriman went on to say, “Our goal is to control the manufacturing of our kits from beginning to end.”
Brian Cote, HL Tooling’s former owner, will stay on as President of the newly formed machine shop.
Pro Star Aviation is one of the nation’s premier Avionics Engineering, Installation and Certification facilities. Additionally, it is a Hawker Beechcraft service center, and home to the Northeast’s exclusive Pilatus Service Center – Pro Star Pilatus.
