SkyBOOKS Releases iPad App

SkyPad - iPad App from SkyBOOKS, Inc.

The SkyBOOKS Software as a Service (SaaS) solution is now available as an application on iPads and iPhones via the Apple App Store. The SaaS solution is available to all SkyBOOKS users.

SkyBOOKS’ innovative approach to service management allows users to connect to its software and systems even when operating from remote locations where cellular coverage is not supported.

With the SkyBOOKS SaaS mobile app, Apple IPads and IPhones will support key functions including:

  • Aircraft status /Fleet status view
  • Update/view aircraft usage
  • View Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins
  • Signoff Operational Inspection
  • Due List view
  • Discrepancies/MEL entry, view, and continuous flight authorization

“By taking advantage of the technology offered through the SkyBOOKS mobile app, mechanics will view the aircraft status at a glance and sign off discrepancies while on the flight line. Flight crews will enter aircraft usage and add discrepancies before returning to home base. Consequently, maintenance directors will view real time fleet status, and receive SMS notices of new discrepancies or flight status changes,” said John Willis, SkyBOOKS Chief Operating Officer.

Those attending the 2013 Heli-Expo in Las Vegas will be able to see the new functionality first hand.  If you are not able to attend, contact sales@skybooks.com to arrange your personal introduction.
