Starlink High-Speed Internet Now Available for King Air Aircraft

July 14,2025

Textron Aviation announced that Starlink high-speed internet connectivity is now available for select Beechcraft King Air aircraft models, following the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) issuance of AeroMech’s supplemental type certificate (STC) for Starlink Aviation.

This new STC enables King Air operators to equip their aircraft with Starlink’s global broadband solution, powered by a growing network of over 6,600 Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites. Whether flying over land, ocean, or remote terrain, operators and passengers can now experience reliable, high-speed internet in areas where traditional inflight Wi-Fi often falls short.

“The King Air platform is one of the most widely used and trusted turboprop aircraft in the world. It’s built for versatility and dependability, and Starlink enhances that experience by providing a seamless connectivity solution for work, communication, and entertainment at altitude,” said Brian Rohloff, senior vice president, Customer Support at Textron Aviation.

This connectivity upgrade is now available for:

  • King Air 200 Series®

  • King Air 300 Series®

  • (and six additional compatible aircraft platforms)

The Starlink Aviation Kit includes:

  • A low-profile Aero Terminal (antenna)

  • Power Supply Unit (PSU)

  • Two Wireless Access Points (WAPs)

  • Custom harnessing

  • And it only requires aircraft power to operate

With gate-to-gate service, King Air operators can now stay connected from the moment they power up on the ramp to the moment they reach their destination.
