Textron Aviation Approves Authorization of TAM Service Center in Brazil

Textron Aviation announced this week at the Latin America Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (LABACE) it had approved longtime channel partner TAM Aviação Executive’s (TAM) service center for Beechcraft King Air turboprops located in Jundiai, Brazil. Textron Aviation plans to authorize additional TAM facilities in the next few months in order to bolster King Air support in Latin America.

“Through a relationship spanning more than 30 years, TAM is a long trusted partner with a proven track record of providing quality maintenance and excellent service to our customers,” said Bob Gibbs, vice president, Sales, Latin America and Caribbean. “With King Airs being the largest population of business turbine aircraft in the region and TAM’s extensive footprint in Brazil, this latest authorization provides this large customer base an even greater level of convenience and support.”

The expanded relationship will benefit both companies greatly. Textron Aviation’s focused investments into Latin American service support with mesh well with TAM: the company has been an authorized partner for Cessna business jet, turboprop and piston aircraft since 1982. TAM provides integrated services such as aircraft maintenance, fixed based operations, aircraft management and aircraft charter throughout Brazil. Authorizing additional TAM facilities will add to Textron Aviation’s current 29 authorized facilities and 6 field service engineers currently located throughout the Latin America region.
