Valair Aviation (an AGC Aerospace & Defense company) announced this week that they are now offering Part 23 and Part 25 operators a STC-certified ADS-B Out solution developed by CMD Flight Solutions.
The CMD Flight Solutions STC covers aircraft equipped with Rockwell Collins TDR-94/94D Transponders and Universal UNS-1(-)W FMS or Collins GPS-4000S. Valair noted that the solution can be offered to operators who wish to retain their OEM integrated Avionics equipment while complying with the FAA ADS-B mandate by using an easy and economical upgrade. The STC’s are applicable to over 160 types of aircraft.
