We Flew Over Europe in Beechcraft King Air

This summer, my business partner and I we flew more than 60 hours in our Beechcraft King Air C90 around Europe. And by “Europe” we mean flying from Porto, Portugal clear to Kiev, Ukraine totaling more than 20000 kms (12,500 miles) in a 1979 bird!

Our conclusion, the Beechcraft King Air is hands down the best choice we ever made. We honestly flew to more than 20 different airports, from 5 kms (16,400 feet) paved runways to 750m (2460 feet) grass strips. We carried anywhere from 2 passengers up to 8 passengers and made flights from 15mins up to 5 hours in flight. Our average fuel burn was 230 liters (60 gal) per hour of Jet A1 with an average speed of 200 knots.

Do you know another aircraft in the world with such a wide panel of activity, with such a dispatch reliability, and with such low operating costs? We don’t and that’s why we wanted to say thank you to Beechcraft for creating and keeping the best turboprop available on earth.

What a great experience or reliability and fun! – Philippe Ardouin (@philippeadn)6BC12223-E3C6-4023-9346-1303D3C72CAD@hsd1.mi.comcast.net.
