Conveniently located mid-way between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, Winner Aviation is based at the Youngstown-Warren Regional airport in Northeast Ohio. Winner Aviation operates a full service FBO, MRO, and Private Charter Department with over 85,000 square feet of hangars and offices. Their maintenance facility offers a selection of jet, turboprop and piston service centers. Other features include expertise in avionics installation and repair, turbine engine repair and inspection, and hard to find parts.
Winner Aviation also offers a professionally staffed Flight Department. Pilot services and aircraft charter are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Since 1995, Winner Aviation has maintained Air Carrier status with the Federal Aviation Administration operating Jet and Turboprop aircraft. Currently, they have a Hawker 400XP and Beechcraft King Air B100 available for charter, as well as operate turbine and piston aircraft for private entities.
History
Their facility, previously known as Beckett Aviation, was established in Youngstown in 1946. During the 50’s and 60’s, Beckett Aviation operated the largest fleet of privately owned aircraft in the country. Beckett Aviation operated all types of aircraft for their clients and grew to having eight FBO locations throughout the country before being sold. Many of the aircraft operated in this fleet were Beechcraft. This fostered a strong bond with the brand and served as a platform for their maintenance division to provide retail maintenance services for King Airs as they started being produced in the 1960’s. That relationship has continued as a Factory Authorized Service Center for piston Beechcraft and they continue to provide premium services for the King Air Fleet today. Their Beechcraft-Factory-Trained and highly experienced technicians, provide the level of service expected by operators who find quality, safety and quick turnaround important aspects to their operational needs.
Their operation at Youngstown is not only the legacy of Beckett Aviation’s, but also a powerhouse for Beechcraft King Air Maintenance servicing the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Great Lake regions.
