SierraTrax Enhancing Platform, New Customer Charge for Services

SierraTrax notified customers this week to expect updated platform enhancements coming in April. Also, they made this announcement:

“Beginning in April 2021, new King Air maintenance tracking subscribers, or current SierraTrax customers wishing to add additional King Air subscriptions, will be charged a nominal fee of just $600 a year per aircraft.”

Existing customers, (prior to the change March 31st 2021) will be grandfathered in and will not be charged for basic maintenance tracking services.

Full letter below:

“Over the past several months, the SierraTrax team has been working tirelessly to develop new system capabilities that will help both our jet and turboprop customers manage their maintenance, logbooks, aircraft records, and regulatory compliance.

Although we cannot fully share these exciting details with you just yet, we did want to make you aware of the upcoming platform enhancements, as they will ultimately affect our ability to continue offering free King Air maintenance tracking.

Because of our ongoing commitment to the King Air community to provide an affordable maintenance tracking solution for King Air owners and operators, we do not plan to charge existing customers for our basic maintenance tracking services in effect prior to March 31, 2021.

Beginning in April 2021, new King Air maintenance tracking subscribers, or current SierraTrax customers wishing to add additional King Air subscriptions, will be charged a nominal fee of just $600 a year per aircraft.

We are confident that this price point, along with the enhanced SierraTrax platform capabilities, will be well-received in the King Air and general aviation community. We can’t wait to tell you more about the system enhancements next month, but until then…
